About wine:
Gredič red reserva is like a good representative of the right bank of Bordeaux. Gentle and delicate character indicates its Merlot majority, which is nicely completed with the spiciness of Cabernet Sauvignon. Moderate, medium intense colour of grenade tones shows its age, the knit of ripe marmalade scent, of plums and dog-rose berry with a fleeting sweet note of cloves shows the ripening in an excellent oak barrel. Moderate acidity, fine, ripe tannins and rounded body are joined in an ideal proportion of soft textures, multi-layer minerals and balsamic flavours leave us an unforgettable trail and elegant finish in our mouth.
Recommended:
with dishes that want to elevate the taste of red meat, where surface contact with heat (grill, roast) leaves a strong impression. Some slices of bacon or ham, as well as the use of aromatic plants and spices (juniper berries) are sometimes needed. Excellent companion for all venison, beef, lamb. Polenta with lard, mushroom sauce and mashed pumpkin can be the best side dishes... Welcome the presence of the truffle. Serve at 16°C.
